As our devoted followers would know we have moved from Wombat to Cootamundra NSW, (above 20 minutes drive south of Wombat) the dogs are settled and renovations are keeping me busy but we have finally recommenced showing in the last few months with our Angel daughter Dusty whose consistence winning is very rewarding (although at present our showing is still somewhat limited to local shows. We expect to be out and about at shows on a regular basis this year and our website will record our progress.

I have been breeding cockers for about 18 years now although showing started some 10 years ago.
It all began with one little gold female puppy named Erracht Honeyflower (Jasmine) who I purchased from Kath & John Cameron of Erracht Cockers and there began a long association with cockers and Kath and John
and so Lachlana Cockers began......
I've enjoyed relatively great success in the ring in such a short time and now breed to make sure that I can maintain that standard of trueness of type and temperament that everyone loves about this breed.
My passion has always been the breeding side with showing as a necessity to make sure I'm on the right track. Breeding stock are carefully selected as I do not breed just for the show ring but with the aim to eliminate any problems to make sure that this wonderful dog will be around for a long time for others to enjoy long after I'm gone.
To date we are the home of 17 Australian champions, the 2005 Champions being Aust Ch Jayjalea Quamby Sky (Annie) and Aust Ch Lachlana For Keeps (Kallie)
The main priority with any puppy that I breed has always been soundness in temperamnet as well as body as nearly all of our puppies go to live as family pets.
All breeding stock are eye tested annually and hold current clear eye certificates.
However we have done very well at showing. In the show ring to date I have bred dogs which have achieved the following most notorious wins
